Covid-19
Dear Patients,
We have resumed a normal dental service.
We are now seeing patients for routine appointments, including checkups and hygiene appointments. Due to limits on clinical activity, the wait for an appointment may be longer than usual, weeks rather than days, so please plan accordingly. When you come to visit the practice, the process will be very different from any pre-covid visit, but everything will be explained to you prior to your arrival.
You will appreciate that as a dental practice we work in an environment where robust infection control procedures have always been woven deep into everything we do, and this places us at an advantage in our aim to protect patients and staff from Coronavirus. We have done everything possible to ensure we are beyond compliant with the latest infection control guidance and that we offer the highest level of safety for those visiting and working in the practice. Examples of the extra measures we have taken are installation of multiple new air ventilation units, air quality particle counters, airflow monitoring as well as new operational and equipment protocols. We have also increased fallow time between patients beyond that which national guidance requires, for additional safety. We are following strict PPE protocols and all staff will be wearing fit-tested valved respirators during treatment to protect patients and themselves.
Our goal is to continue our comprehensive service for all of our patients, as we believe that oral health is a key aspect of wellbeing and your overall health. I thank you for your support of the practice during recent times, and please keep safe. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
